Although there is no complete guarantee for the security of information, this strong encryption will significantly reduce the possibility of unauthorised interception, reading or stealing of your information during any transaction between you and us.

User Identity and Password

To have access to our Internet Insurance Services, you will be required to use a User Identity ("ID") and password. To protect your personal information from access by Third Parties, you are advised to exercise the following precautionary steps:

	Using a User ID and password not easily guessed by a Third Party
	Do not share your password with any Third Party for by doing so the Third Party will have access to your personal information
	Do not reveal your password to any authorised representative of Lonpac even if you are requested to do for we do NOT need to know your user ID or password.
	Any request for your password should be treated as unauthorised and suspicious
	Change your password regularly

Automatic Time Out

As a safety precaution, after 30 minutes of inactivity we will terminate your secured Internet insurance session for you. This is for the protection of your privacy and to prevent unauthorised use in case you accidentally leave the session logged on after you have finished your transactions.

Security Involves You

You play an equally important role in protecting your personal information to avoid being responsible for transactions conducted by Third Parties using your password. To ensure that such a role is properly carried out, you are advised to exercise the following precautionary steps:

	To log out from Lonpac website after completing any online insurance session or transaction with Lonpac by clicking on the "Log Out" button and thereafter closing your browser
	To immediately notify us if you believe that a Third Party has obtained access to your password
	Memorise your password and never write your password down in a place where it could be associated with your user ID
